Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the mxic_ecc_finish_io_req_external() function in drivers/mtd/nand/ecc-mxic.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
