Description

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.

In CryptoHal::decrypt of CryptoHal.cpp, there is an out of bounds write due to improper input validation that results in a read from uninitialized memory. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation. Product: Android. Versions: 8.0, 8.1.
