Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to other users' credentials.

The vulnerability exists due to the Juniper Device Manager (JDM) container stores password hashes in the world-readable file /etc/passwd. A local administrator can perform a brute-force attack to decrypt password hashes stored on the system.

Mitigation
Install updates from vendor's website.
