Ukraine’s largest charity announces fundraising campaign for cyber offensive

Come Back Alive, Ukraine’s largest foundation for assistance to the Ukrainian military, has announced a fundraising campaign to support the country’s cyber offensive against Russia.

The project aims to raise UAH 50 million (~$1,36 million) to buy technology and equipment that will help Ukraine’s cyber forces conduct cyber operations that could impact Russia’s advances on the real battlefield.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already formed a new structure – cyber forces. These are servicemen who will perform tasks on the invisible battlefield and help real tanks and artillery to win back Ukrainian territories,” explains Andriy Rymaruk, head of the military department of the Come Back Alive Foundation. “We actually raise money for cyber offensive. It will burn even in the most rotten heart of the occupying country.”

For security reasons the foundation does not disclose the list of upcoming purchases, but notes that every hryvnia spent will work to complicate the logistics and control of enemy troops, as well as to identify the locations of Russian occupiers and their further effective destruction by other units of the Armed Forces.
