New dangerous banking Trojan GozNym surfaced a couple of weeks ago, successor of Nymaim and Gozi ISFB malware. According IBM X-Force Research, GozNym is already responsible for theft of $4 million since its launch (April 2016).
Currently malware is focused on banking institutions, including 22 banks in U.S.
The Trojan is spread via emails with malicious attachments. These are usually documents with embedded macros. After infecting the computer, malware tracks all browsing sessions and is able to manipulate browser through webinjection mechanisms to gain control over banking account of the victim.
