Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to the do_change_cipher_spec function in OpenSSL. A remote unauthenticated attacker can cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted SSL/TLS handshake that triggers a null dereference.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in denial of service.

Mitigation

Upgrate your version to OpenSSL 0.9.6m, OpenSSL 0.9.7d.
