Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2006-0207)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to corrupt data.
Multiple HTTP response splitting vulnerabilities in PHP 5.1.1 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers via a crafted Set-Cookie header, related to the (1) session extension (aka ext/session) and the (2) header function.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2006-0208)
Vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform XSS attacks.
The vulnerability is caused by an input validation error in PHP 4.4.1 and 5.1.1, when display_errors and html_errors are on, when processing inputs to PHP applications that are not filtered when they are included in the resulting error message. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in victim's browser in security context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
