Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2011-3646)
CWE-ID: CWE-20 - Improper input validation
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
phpmyadmin.css.php in phpMyAdmin 3.4.x before 3.4.6 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via an array-typed js_frame parameter to phpmyadmin.css.php, which reveals the installation path in an error message.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2011-4064)
CWE-ID: CWE-79 - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear
Vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform Cross-site scripting attacks.
An input validation error exists in the setup interface in phpMyAdmin 3.4.x before 3.4.6. A remote authenticated attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in victim's browser in security context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
