Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-1605)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to manipulate data.

The Extbase Framework in TYPO3 4.6.x through 4.6.6, 4.7, and 6.0 unserializes untrusted data, which allows remote attackers to unserialize arbitrary objects and possibly execute arbitrary code via vectors related to "a missing signature (HMAC) for a request argument."

2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-1606)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing data passed via unspecified vectors. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

3) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-1607)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The Command Line Interface (CLI) script in TYPO3 4.4.0 through 4.4.13, 4.5.0 through 4.5.13, 4.6.0 through 4.6.6, 4.7, and 6.0 allows remote attackers to obtain the database name via a direct request.

4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-1608)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to bypass the cross-site scripting (XSS) protection mechanism and inject arbitrary web script or HTML via non printable characters.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
