- Critical
Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-3529)
The vulnerability allows a remote #AU# to gain access to sensitive information.
The configuration module in the backend in TYPO3 4.5.x before 4.5.19, 4.6.x before 4.6.12 and 4.7.x before 4.7.4 allows remote authenticated backend users to obtain the encryption key via unspecified vectors.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-3530)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via certain HTML5 JavaScript events.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-3531)
Vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform Cross-site scripting attacks.
An input validation error exists in the Install Tool in TYPO3 4.5.x before 4.5.19, 4.6.x before 4.6.12 and 4.7.x before 4.7.4. A remote authenticated attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in victim's browser in security context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
4) Cryptographic issues (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-3527)
The vulnerability allows a remote #AU# to read and manipulate data.
view_help.php in the backend help system in TYPO3 4.5.x before 4.5.19, 4.6.x before 4.6.12 and 4.7.x before 4.7.4 allows remote authenticated backend users to unserialize arbitrary objects and possibly execute arbitrary PHP code via an unspecified parameter, related to a "missing signature (HMAC)."
5) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-3528)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing data passed via unspecified vectors. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
