1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-5192)
CWE-ID: CWE-22 - Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal')
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:A/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in gmap/view_overlay.php in Bitweaver 2.8.1 and earlier. A remote authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and remote attackers to read arbitrary files via "''%2F" (dot dot encoded slash) sequences in the overlay_type parameter.
