Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.
1) Code Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2013-0210)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.
The smart proxy Puppet run API in Foreman before 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via vectors related to escaping and Puppet commands.
2) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-5648)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
