Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.
1) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-10758)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to the application allows unrestricted upload of dangerous files in image_name parameter. A remote attacker can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2015-1052)
Vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform XSS attacks.
The vulnerability is caused by an input validation error in the poll archive in PHPKIT 1.6.6 (Build 160014) when processing result parameter to upload_files/pk/include.php. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in victim's browser in security context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
