1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2015-5283)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the sctp_v4_del_protocol(), sctp_net_init(), sctp_net_exit(), sctp_init() and sctp_exit() functions in net/sctp/protocol.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
Remediation
