1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2012-6689)
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access control error within the netlink_sendmsg() and netlink_add_usersock_entry() functions in net/netlink/af_netlink.c. A local user can execute arbitrary code.
Remediation
Install update from vendor's website.
