This security bulletin contains information about 1 security vulnerability.
1) CAB decompression memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-2211)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause memory corruption on the target system.The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when unpacking MSPACK archives in Symantec Antivirus. A remote unauthenticated attacker can cause a remote memory corruption by sending specially crafted archive to vulnerable server.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in remote code executione.
