1) Memory corruption (CVE-ID: CVE-2016-5308)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause the target system to crash.The vulnerability exists due to a memory corruption error in processing PE files. A remote unauthenticated attacker can cause the target system to crash by creating a specially crafted portable-executable (PE) file that, when downloaded and manipulated on the target system, will cause a kernel-level memory corruption error in the Client Intrusion Detection System (CIDS).
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in denial of service.
