The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated user to cause the target system to crash or execute arbitrary code.The weakness is due to stack-based buffer overflow. By sending additional valid packets attackers can access the system and cause a crash or execute arbitrary code.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in complete vulnerable system compromise.
