DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The weakness exists due to use-after-free error when handling HTMLSlotElement objects. A remote attacker can trick the victim into visiting a specially crafted website or open a malicious file and execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Apple Safari under the context of the current process.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.
