1) Error handling (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8072)
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code.
The vulnerability exists due to error handling error within the cp2112_gpio_direction_input() function in drivers/hid/hid-cp2112.c. A local user can execute arbitrary code.
