Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 vulnerabilities.

1) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-7236)

CWE-ID: CWE-89 - Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.

2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-7439)

CWE-ID: CWE-200 - Exposure of sensitive information to an unauthorized actor

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

NetApp OnCommand Unified Manager Core Package 5.x before 5.2.2P1 might allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via vectors involving error messages.
