Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use-after-free error (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-3302)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.The weakness exists due to use-after-free error in the libmysqlclient.so. A remote attacker can cause the application to crash.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-3313)
The vulnerability allows a local high privileged attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.The weakness exists due to an error in MyISAM component. A local attacker can gain unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all MySQL Server accessible data.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in information disclosure.
