Description

The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to bypass authentication on the target system.

The weakness exists in Siemens SIMATIC Communication Processor (CP) 44x-1 Redundant Network Access (RNA) modules due to
improper authentication restrictions. A remote attacker can connect to a targeted system via TCP port 102 and gain administrative control over the system.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.

Mitigation

Update to version 1.4.1.
