This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Remote code execution (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-6326)

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code with privileges of the current user.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.

2) Security restrictions bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-6324)

The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions.

The weakness exists due to improper input validation when handling malicious Word files. A remote attacker can send an email containing a specially crafted .doc file, trick the victim into opening it and bypass the 'disarm' settings.


3) Arbitrary PHP code execution (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-6325)

The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute PHP code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted URL and execute arbitrary PHP code on the system.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.
