Description

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the target system.

The weakness exists due to a misconfiguration of the Password writeback component  during enablement of the feature. A remote attacker can reset passwords, gain unauthorized access to privileged user accounts stored in an on-premises AD location and conduct further attacks.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in privilege escalation.

Mitigation

Update to version 1.1.553.0.
