1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-10683)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to heap-based buffer over-read within the convert_latin1() function in libmpg123/id3.c of the ID3v2 parser. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service attack.
