Description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the drivers/net/ethernet/hisilicon/hns/hns_enet.c source code due to use-after-free. A local attacker can trigger memory corruption and cause the service to crash.

Mitigation

Update to version 4.13.
