Description

The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to bypass authentication on the target system.

The weakness exists due to improper security restrictions. A remote attacker acting as a vSphere user can use the VIX API to bypass additional authentication restrictions and gain access to a Guest Operating System (GuestOS).
