DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain elevated privileges or cause denial of service on the target system.
The weakness exists due to improper handling of openat() system calls using a file descriptor that does not name a directory as the starting point for a path lookup. A local attacker can make a specially crafted openat() system calls, trigger a vnode reference leak in the kernel and gain elevated privileges or cause a DoS condition.
