Description

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the target system.

The weakness exists in the routine that loads DLL files in Cisco Meeting App for Windows due to incomplete input validation of the path name for DLL files. A local attacker can place a specially crafted DLL file in a specific system directory and execute commands on the underlying Microsoft Windows host with elevated privileges.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in system compromise.
