This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Privilege escalation (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the target system.

The weakness exists due to insecure directory permissions. A local attacker with 'loginuser' privileges can set the root password and gain elevated privileges.

2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: N/A)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker with access to the 'Logging & Reporting' function can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
