Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The weakness exists due to cross repositories modification. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted mercurial repository and trigger arbitrary commands on a client during commands such as clone or update.

Mitigation

Update to version 4.4.1.
