The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.
The weakness exists due to an error during an MQGET call of a client application running on a channel with SHARECNV=1. A remote atatcker can cause a SIGSEGV and termination of the channel agent process.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability results in denial of service.
