Description

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to perform SSRF attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient server-side validation of user-supplied data in HTTP payloads. A remote attacker can send specially crafted HTTP payloads, bypass server-side protections and inject arbitrary values into DCNM configuration parameters.

Mitigation

The vulnerability is addressed in the following versions: 10.4(1.34)S0,l 10.4(1)S9.

Description

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to redirect the target user to external websites.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation of values in HTTP header parameters. A remote attacker can trick the victim into clicking a malicious link, inject malicious HTTP headers into HTTP messages and redirect a user to a malicious, attacker-controlled website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
