Description

This security bulletin contains information about 8 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12367)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition or execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to input validation flaw. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted ARF or WRF file and cause the application to crash or execute arbitrary code.

2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12368)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition or execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to input validation flaw. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted ARF or WRF file and cause the application to crash or execute arbitrary code.

3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12369)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition or execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to input validation flaw. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted ARF or WRF file and cause the application to crash or execute arbitrary code.

4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12370)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition or execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to input validation flaw. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted ARF or WRF file and cause the application to crash or execute arbitrary code.

5) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12371)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition or execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to input validation flaw. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted ARF or WRF file and cause the application to crash or execute arbitrary code.

6) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12372)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition or execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to input validation flaw. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted ARF or WRF file and cause the application to crash or execute arbitrary code.

7) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12359)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when handling malicious input. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted .arf file, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with privileges of the current user.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

8) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-12360)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists due to input validation flaw. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted WRF file and cause the application to crash.
