The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists in lib/yard/core_ext/file.rb in the server due to the application does not block relative paths with an initial ../ sequence. A remote attacker can conduct directory traversal attack and gain access to potentially sensitive information.
