The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists due to directory traversal. A remote attacker can cause the service to crash.

2) Remote code execution (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-8975)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted input and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
