Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-3818)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can use the colored fields formatter, trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-3821)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists in the tag cloud visualizationdue to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
3) Open redirect (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-3819)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to conduct an open redirect attack.
The vulnerability exists in the login page due to an incomplete fix for another vulnerability identified as CVE-2017-11482. A remote attacker can trick the victim into following a specially crafted link, redirect the user to a malicious website and conduct further attacks or perform arbitrary actions.
4) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-3817)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to the application inadvertently log sensitive information when logging warnings regarding deprecated settings. A remote attacker can gain access to arbitrary data.
