Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause DoS condition on the target system.

The weakness exists in the decode_plane function in libavcodec/utvideodec.c due to nsufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can submit a specially crafted AVI, trigger out-of-array read and cause the application to crash.

Install update from vendor's website.
