1) Out-of-bouds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-0853)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read error when processing Microsoft Office documents. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted document, trick the victim into opening it and read memory contents, which belongs to other applications.
2) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-0851)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to boundary error when processing Microsoft Office files. A remote unauthenticated attacker can create a specially crafted Microsoft Office document, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
