The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to perform HTTP response splitting attack.
The weakness exists due to improper handling of line-folded HTTP headers and host headers. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request, trigger a different upstream proxy server to be used and cause the service to crash.
