Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.
1) Privilege escalation (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-0816)
CWE-ID: CWE-119 - Memory corruption
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear
The vulnerability allows a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the target system.
The weakness exists due to improper handling of objects in memory by the Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI). A local attacker can run a specially crafted application, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code with system privileges.
2) Privilege escalation (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-0817)
