This security bulletin contains information about 14 vulnerabilities.


1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-17175)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

joyplus-cms 1.6.0 allows manager/admin_pic.php?rootpath= absolute path traversal.


2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-14500)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing the manager/collect/collect_vod_zhuiju.php keyword parameter. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


3) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-14501)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.


4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-14388)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing the manager/admin_ajax.php can_search_device array parameter. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


5) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-14389)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the manager/admin_ajax.php val parameter. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.

joyplus-cms 1.6.0 allows Remote Code Execution because of an Arbitrary SQL command execution issue in manager/index.php involving use of a "/!select/" substring in place of a select substring.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin within joyplus-cms 1.6.0. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website, such as adding an administrator account.
