The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
The weakness exists in the web framework due to an overly permissive Cross Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) policy. A remote attacker can trick the victim into following a malicious link, communicate with the API and exfiltrate potentially sensitive information.
