Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-0259)
The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to conduct CSRF attack on the target system.The weakness exists in the web-based management interface due to insufficient CSRF protection. A remote attacker can trick the victim into following a malicious link or visiting an attacker-controlled website, submit arbitrary requests via the device manager web interface with elevated privileges.
2) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-0260)
The vulnerability allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to conduct CSRF attack on the target system.The weakness exists in the web interface due to lack of proper input validation and authorization of HTTP requests. A remote attacker can send a malicious HTTP request to the targeted application to view and download the contents of certain web application virtual directories.
