The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote unauthenticated attacker can upload arbitrary input on the device and bypass security restrictions.
2) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-8865)

The vulnerability exists due to stack-based buffer overflow when handling malicious input. A remote unauthenticated attacker can upload arbitrary input, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code.
