Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform CSRF attack.

The weakness exists due to insufficient CSRF protections. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted HTML page or URL, trick the victim into visiting it, gain access to the system and execute unwanted actions in the portal.

2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The weakness exists in the Web Proxy portlet/application due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can supply specially crafted stylesheet and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

3) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

The weakness exists due to the portal is using HTTPS and compression (GZip) is enabled. A remote attacker can gain access to arbitrary data.

4) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

The weakness exists due to memory leak. A remote attacker can disclose "doAsUserId" parameter used by Administrators for impersonating another user.

5) Memory leak (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

The weakness exists due to memory leak. A remote attacker can cause the asset tag API to leak information about the user who created the asset tag.

6) Security restrictions bypass (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions on the target system.

The weakness exists due to multiple permission issue. A remote attacker can bypass security restrictions and perform actions on resources which are not allowed to perform.

7) Reflected cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: N/A)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists on the JSONWS API page due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
