This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.


1) Command injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-12972)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper setting of security restrictions on o, key, style, yrange, and y2range parameters and their JSON input to the /q URI A remote unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted request that submits malicious input and execute arbitrary commands.


2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-13003)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in parameter 'type' to the /suggest URI. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-12973)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in parameter 'json' to the /q URI. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
