Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-18322)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code.
CentOS-WebPanel.com (aka CWP) CentOS Web Panel 0.9.8.480 has Command Injection via shell metacharacters in the admin/index.php service_start, service_restart, service_fullstatus, or service_stop parameter.
2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-18323)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
CentOS-WebPanel.com (aka CWP) CentOS Web Panel 0.9.8.480 has Local File Inclusion via directory traversal with an admin/index.php?module=file_editor&file=/../ URI.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-18324)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data when processing the admin/fileManager2.php fm_current_dir parameter, or the admin/index.php module, service_start, service_fullstatus, service_restart, service_stop, or file (within the file_editor) parameter. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
