Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Memory leak (CVE-ID: CVE-2017-13058)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the function WritePCXImage in coders/pcx.c. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service attack via a a specially crafted file.
2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-12599)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists in ReadBMPImage and WriteBMPImage in coders/bmp.c due to out-of-bounds write. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2018-12600)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists in ReadDIBImage and WriteDIBImage in coders/dib. due to out-of-bounds write. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the function WriteSGIImage in coders/sgi.c. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service attack via a specially crafted file.
